Hello there! My name is Dr. Laurel Oetjen, Ph.D., MOT, OTR/L, CELDC.
I am here to be your guide. Over the past 15 years, I have worked with individuals in several settings: healthcare, mental health, as a ski patroller, and as a professional coach. As an independent coach, speaker, and guide, I help you navigate complexity, communicate with confidence, lead meaningful change, and build sustainable performance.
I have a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Human Performance, a Master of Occupational Therapy, and a Ph.D. in Leadership with an emphasis in Health Sciences. I am also a Certified Executive and Leadership Development Coach, an Alpine Ski Patroller, and an Outdoor Emergency Care Technician/Instructor.

I received my coaching certification through The Academies CELDC program and have loved every minute of my coaching career. I believe in a neuroscience-backed approach to coaching and use motivational interviewing skills to help you identify the best approach to meet your goals. Nothing is ever forced and I let you guide the conversation. I bring my years of experience as an occupational therapist to help you with develop leadership skills through grounded leadership science, healthcare expertise, and the science of human behavior.

I am a big believer in giving back. My way to do that is through the National Ski Patrol. I work in the winter as an alpine patroller, and help to teach new patrollers in the Outdoor Emergency Care classes. I am working to get my young kids skiing too so we can spend time as a family! Rosie, our dog, already serves as our "rescue dog" on occasion!
